Ernakulam Snatches It – Empower India Foundation First Chapter Launched

Empower India Ernakulam District Chapter, became the first Chapter of Empower India Foundation in the country. The Chapter was launched on 11th September 2021 in a small function held the YMCA auditorium, Aluva. 19 members were inducted to the Chapter during the launching ceremony.

Chapter formation across the country is an initiative of EIF aiming to get implemented the action plans envisioned in the India 2047, Empowering the People Project Document at grassroots level by motivating the beneficiaries and stakeholders of the project. The Chapters will liaise with the local people, identify the issues and areas that need to be addressed in the locality, and motivate and support them to implement action plans specific to the issues.

EM Abdul Rahiman, former Chairman of EIF delivered the opening speech, Mohamed Asif ben Mammutty, Head of Research & Publications, Faiz Mohamed, Head of Relations and Mohammed Shaffeeq, CEO presented PowerPoint presentations related to EIF, Muslim statistical data in Ernakulam district and the indicators to be taken care of with regard to the five Focus Areas, that are being concentrated in the locality, respectively. State Coordinator Prof. Anwar Sadath welcomed the gathering.

Dr. Ali Akber was elected as the President of the Chapter and KS Safeer as the General Secretary.
