Social Justice Documentation and Information Centre

Kerala Chapter of Empower India Foundation (EIF), in association with Muslim Employees Cultural Association (MECA) organised a meeting at Kochi on 15th July 2021 to discuss about establishing a ‘Documentation and Information Centre.’ This is an innovative project initiated by EIF Kerala chapter coordinated by Prof Anvar Sadat.

 

There is a long-felt need to collect and organise information and data about social issues related to the Muslims, Other Backward Classes, Dalits and Adivasis in Kerala. Supporting Specific Action Project (SAP) which fulfills one or more of the initiatives in ‘India 2047’ project is part of EIF agenda. This meeting discussed the project proposal and resolved to start an institution preferably in Kochi city. A project implementation committee was also constituted.
