Workshop on Research and Empowerment
A two-day workshop on Empower and Research was conducted by Empower India Foundation at the Indian Social Institute in Bangalore on 13th and 14th March 2021.
The inaugural session was presided over by Chairperson E.M. Abdul Rahiman. Vice-Chairperson Prof. Nishath Khalida Parveen inaugurated the workshop. Presentations, (1) India 2047 – Concept and Introduction; Efforts and Realisations, (2) A Journey through India 2047 – Empowering the People Project Document, (3) Role of National, State and City Leadership. New Strategy and Chapter Concept, (4) Research Institutions that Works and Publish Muslim Data, (5) Current Available Muslim Data and its Details and (6) Idea of Empowerment were given by Muhammad Raphy, Mohamed Asif, Mohamed Shaffeeq, Dr. Khalid Khan, Dr. Jabir P and Aariz Mohamed respectively, on the first day.
The second day started with a lecture by Mohamed Shakif about Islamophobia in India followed by a lecture by Salam of Channel Soft on Liaisoning with the Community. Faiz Mohammed gave a presentation on Relations and Chapter Formation. Group discussion and Q&A session followed. The workshop concluded with the closing speech of Muhammed Raphy.
Selected members from various states of the country participated in the workshop.
