Indian Muslim Economy at Hyderabad

The first national seminar in the series was held in Calicut on 8th and 9th March 2014 with the theme

“Muslim Agenda: Past, Present, Future ” – Road Map 2047.

Institute of Objective Studies, Calicut Chapter and Centre for Human Resource Development, Kozhikode were the local organizers of the event. More than 50 invited delegates participated. Research papers were presented in 3 sessions. The inaugural function was presided over by Abdul Rahman Darimi. Mr. A.A. Wahab welcomed the gathering and Prof. Z.M. Khan, Secretary General, IOS, New Delhi inaugurated the seminar. E.M. Abdul Rahiman, NEC member, Popular Front of India delivered the introductory speech. Two sessions were held on the first day and the third session was held on the second day.

Jamal Kochangadi chaired the first Session titled “Society and Culture”. Dr.A.I. Rahmathullah chaired the Second Session titled “Education & Economy”. C. Davood chaired the third Session titled “Politics and Power”.
